Supporting Emmaus Glasgow, one of Antonio’s Favourite Charities

At Emmaus Glasgow, we recognise that for most people, the route out of homelessness is through stable employment, and through tackling mental health and addiction challenges. Alongside our accommodation, we therefore offer companions remunerated work in our social enterprises, as well as trauma-informed mental health support. With up to 27 adult companions having a safe and stable home in our accommodation at once, we provide them with steady routine, occupational and life skills training, and opportunities to volunteer in our soup kitchen. Our soup kitchen serves over 3,500 people per year, and we have also provided over 600 emergency food parcels to local families in need. The Foundation made a £4000 grant.
